Kanisa Fellowship Online – Innovative and Practical
August 31, 2007
New Online Ministry Designed to Promote Interaction and Enhance Fellowship
Kanisa Fellowship welcomes all to visit and subscribe to its mailing list where members and Christians everywhere can be informed about upcoming events. The blog allows members to add content to the webpages without waiting for a webmaster. This means that information on the website is current, up-to-date and fresh. Archived content includes a testimony from a newly baptized member, book reviews of The Da Vinci Code and articles on Christian lifestyle issues. “Visitors are more than welcomed to contribute to the dialogue on our website,” says Barnes. “Whether people join us in our church in Toronto or join us online, the goal is to claim and reclaim souls for God’s kingdom using interactive tools. This is just one form of outreach”.
The new design will feature highlights from the various ministries within Kanisa, such as the Women’s, Health and Prayer Ministries. Visitors can also submit prayer requests easily from every page. Unable to attend a service? Curious about the gospel? Visitors can hear a 20-minute sample of the church service through the podcast. Published bi-weekly, visitors simply click on the play button and can experience lively worship, uplifting songs, powerful prayer, and the ministering of God’s word through Senior Pastor, John M. Scott and other guest speakers. For more information, please call (416) 410-3102 or e-mail: info@kanisafellowship.com
