At Kanisa Fellowship, we love to serve others.

Not only do we enjoy serving individuals who walk into our doors, we also enjoy serving the community that we are all a part of. Christ has set the ultimate example of serving others.

We have programs that allow us to engage our neighbours in fun, non-threatening ways, that build friendships and meet community needs.

Street Feed Program

Kanisa Street Feed ProgramSince 2009, Kanisa Fellowship has sponsored a street-feeding program in the downtown core of Toronto.

Faithfully, every two weeks, mixed teams from the evangelism, prayer and music ministries, prepare and deliver 400 balanced meals.

The meals are prepared at Kanisa Fellowship and are distributed during the early morning hours on Saturday morning to people who are homeless.   Over 20,800 meals have been served since the program started in 2009.

Currently, the program feeds citizens from these homeless shelters:

Seaton House

Maxwell Meighen Centre

Salvation Army

Covenant House

Fred Victor

Fall Leaf Clean Up

During the fall season, our youth mentoring program, Pathfinders, organizes a residential leaf clean up project in the Ledbury Park and Bedford Park community, where the church is located.

It’s a simple thing.  The youth clean up the leaves on the lawns of our neighbours, which is a big help for them, and a great way to show kindness.

Doing the right thing

We call it practical application of the Word of God…
