Children Ministries
The children really are the future and God has entrusted us all with their upbringing. At Kanisa Fellowship, children are an integral part of our family. Our weekly Kidz Praise and story time places our children in the spotlight and gives your children a time to participate in the service by singing songs and listening to stories written especially for them.
During the adult discussion time, the children meet together for more singing and stories as well as crafts and snacks.
October is Children’s Month at Kanisa Fellowship
October 3 – A 13th Sabbath Presentation
The children from Beginners through Juniors will be sharing their application of the Word of God through songs, stories and memory verse recitation. This will take place as the Fellowship Study segment.
Our annual Food Drive collection begins. Your non-perishable goods will help us meet our goal of two wagon loads.
October 10 - Thanksgiving Worship Service & Church Potluck Lunch
Food Drive collection to be taken to the local Fire Hall during Sabbath School time.
October 17 – Two events
a) Cedarhurst Visit (our property neighbours)
b) I Dream of Africa Play (offsite evening presentation)
October 24 – Children’s Church
The children’s program will be in the Fellowship Hall from 11am – 1pm. Bible-learning stations will enhance your child’s application of God’s Word in their young lives. Kanisa Kids Fall Clothes Swap available after Sabbath School.
October 31 – Children’s Day
Theme: Yes I can!!…Do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Kanisa Kids Fall Clothes Swap available after Sabbath School.
