Man attacked by lion while challenging God
June 6, 2006
One of the most bizarre stories I’ve seen yet. A man lowered himself into a lion’s den at a zoo and shouted, “God will save me, if He exists.” Unfortunately, a lioness in the den mauled the man to death.
How silly. Why would this man think that God would protect him doing something so foolish? I need a Bible text here.

Got something to say?

This guy didn’t read the Daniel story properly. Daniel was ‘thrown’ in the lion’s den. No where did I read that he walked in voluntarily. I guess he found out that God does not reward stupidity
Ha! Mmmmmm…Nice going…. When Jesus was tempted by the devil, and told to cast himself down from the pinnacle of the temple in the holy city to see if God’s angels would break his fall, Jesus quickly replied. “It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.” This reply came from the son of God himself. Jesus knew better than to tempt the living God and throw himself down from the temple, just to see if God would act on our whims. I know better than to do so(as a result of Jesus’example), shouldn’t this man have taken notice too?
