PRAYER MINISTRIES
Love one another–The power to prevail in prayer
“One of Christ’s last commands to His disciples was “Love one another as I have loved you.” John 13:34. Do you obey this command, or do you cherish a critical, sharp, un-Christlike spirit? If you have in any way wounded or grieved others, it is your duty to confess your faults and seek for reconciliation (Matt. 18:23-4; James 5:16). This is an essential preparation before you can go to God in faith, to ask for His blessings. Our heavenly Father delights to answer our prayers, may we ask the Holy Spirit to put this love in our hearts so that our prayers will prevail with power.

Comments:
God has called us to reconciliation with those who have wounded us. This is one of the most difficult act for many individuals. When you consider the way some people have treated you, it hurts to the core. The question that comes to mind is how can someone who has caused such disruption in my life continue enjoying his/her life? Shoultz states, “We were designed by God to not hold onto anger, revenge, bitterness, and resentment,” When we do, it’s destructive to our being, leading to a slow and insidious breakdown to the entire system. “ By faith, trust God and stop planning and plotting for vengeance. “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Romans 12:19
