Got something to say?

DECEMBER 26 SERVICE WAS SPECTACULAR! Congratulations to those who shared their gifts. I am constantly amazed at the extent of our intellectual and musical talent pool. Kanisa Fellowship rocked the house with praise and joy! How does it get any better? We are blessed with an over-abundance of incredible talent and should consider doing a talent/gifts program quarterly. Beware, I recently purchased an acoustical guitar and I am looking forward to my stage debut. I have been with KF for about 10 months and was baptised recently. It has been a glorious and joyful time for me after a very long (17 years) period of devastating despair and torment. I want to thank my KF family for the warm welcome and loving hugs. KF really does “talk the talk and the walk the walk”. I want to give a special thanks to Elijah Marie and Kalalay for introducing me to KF last February at Tim Hortons. In retrospect, the experiemce was bizarre. I know the Lord works in strange and mysterious ways , but this is too much! I am deeply moved by the kindness and love of those who went out of their way to nurture and support me spiritually. I am still a work-in-progress but my inner conflicts are starting to resolve themselves. I have recently experienced something called “peace-of-mind”. This is a rare and elusive state of being for me. The last time I enjoyed it was 31 years ago. when I acquired controlling interest in my first public company. Its amazing what “walking ” with God can do for you! It is my hope and desire to pick up the pace in 2010 and break out into a “jog” or even a “sprint”. I am excited about the future and all that FK can do. Just look at our new KF community choir! It is truly amazzzing what a few people can do if they are motivated and determined enough to make it happen. I would like to challenge each and everyone of my KF siblings to make it a goal for 2010 to bring at least one person each quarter (4/year) to KF. This city is full of lost people who are living lives of quiet desperation who need our help. I was one of them! Please take the initiative to SHARE THE JOY OF KANISA FELLOWSHIP IN 2010.
