At Kanisa Fellowship, our hope is found in one foundational pursuit: that you would come to know Jesus and fall more in love with Him each and every day. Through many experiences at Kanisa Fellowship, we have developed a few on-ramps to help you through your journey of discovering more about who God is, what He thinks of you, and what our role is in this journey called life.

Private Bible Study

Personal Bible Studies are held with a Kanisa Fellowship pastor, elder, or deacon of the church. These studies are available to help you learn about Jesus’ character, his challenges, and his triumphs. Throughout the study, we also learn the fundamentals of developing our faith, as well as develop skills in personal bible study. All the course material centers around what the Bible really says about God, Jesus, and our future.

Corporate Bible Study

Corporate Bible Studies are held on Saturday morning. During this time you are able ask questions, hear from others, and discover some of the deepest truths about God. This is a non-judgmental learning environment that is safe, exploratory, and highly engaging for all involved.

F.A.Q’s

How much does a Bible study cost?

The study is free, and there is no charge for the study material.

How long are the study sessions?

Many people set aside an hour or so each week to study the Bible with us.  The duration of the study is totally dependent on your comfort level. We’ll adapt it to your schedule.

What happens when I request a Bible study?

When you request a Bible study, one of Kanisa Fellowship’s leaders will visit you at a time and place convenient for you. He or she will take a few minutes to demonstrate our study program. If you like it, you can continue.

If I accept a Bible study, do I have to become a member of Kanisa?

We have to earn your trust and confidence to join our church family.  It’s not an automatic thing that happens.  Seventh-day Adventists love teaching people about the Bible, but we never force anyone to become a member of our community. Rather, we respectfully present what the Bible says, recognizing that each person has the right to choose what he or she will believe.—1 Peter 3:15.
