Event Name:                     MPT Presentation by Members
Date:                           November 08, 2009
Time:                           10am – 12pm
Where:                          Crawford Adventist Academy

Description:

As announced on Sabbath October 24, 2008, the MPT is setting
aside time on Sunday November 08, 2009 to receive suggestions
from the Church members with respect to the MPT process, in
response to request received from the body to be heard on this
matter.

Individuals are kindly asked that their presentations be no
longer than 5 minutes. There may be a short question period
following, for a maximum time per person of 10 minutes each,
so we can accommodate as many presenters as possible within
the allotted time.

Please plan to arrive for 9:30am to be scheduled for your
time slot beginning at 10am – 12pm. There will be no repeat
time made for this opportunity to the MPT Team.

Location affirmation will follow via e-bulletin and live at
Kanisa on Sabbath October 31, 2009. A single sided page print
out of your presentation and covering the same material to be
presented is also preferred. FYI, please note that suggestions
are welcome at any time, directly to the Council for reference
to the general Church body as well, in addition to this one
time listening session by the MPT.

Event Name:                     A Trip to View The Dead Sea Scrolls
Date:                           November 15, 2009

Description:

The Go Deep Team presents, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity
to see one of the greatest archaeological finds of
the 20th century – the earliest record of biblical
patriarchs and prophets known to Judaism, Christianity
and Islam. The Dead Sea Scrolls.

In light of the Go Deep sessions we have delved into
this past year:

Inspiration, Translation, The Canon, The Bible’s
Authenticity. We felt that this current theme at
the ROM would be of great spiritual and educational
value to our members.

Description:
Kanisa it’s Pray and Fast Time…

Once a month the Kanisa Family will come together to Pray & Fast
in one accord. This month it will be on Thurs. November 19. Each
month there will be a specific theme/topic in which the church
body will pray and fast about, for themselves and the church in
whole.

Information about the monthly theme will be sent out via updates,
and the complete outline will be available via the Prayer Ministry
web page a day or two before the designated date.

Event Name:                     Camp Frenda Youth Retreat
Date:                           Friday Nov. 20, – Sunday Nov. 22, 2009
Time:                           7:30 pm Friday – 2pm Sunday
Where:                          Camp Frena – Muskoka

Description:

KANISA KREW is planning on exciting weekend at Camp Frenda.
We will be attending camp on Nov. 20-22, 2009.

The cost of the trip is $85.00 for youths  13-29 & $95.00
for adults. (The Transportation cost is $40.00 extra).

We will also be have There will be a ‘Funky Frenda Fashion Show’
- (Models are needed), Tribal Wars, games, Interactive seminars
& much more.

So plan to be at this years Youth Event.

Applications can be found at Kanisa or Brampton church. You can
also see Jackie or Rayon Dell, Tabitha Lewis, or Khaliah Bruzal
for more info..

All applications & money must be in by Nov.7. 2009. NO LATE

Event Name: Volleyball

Description:

Volleyball season has started again and I’m
recruiting people interested in playing
for Kanisa Lightning this year.

As it stands, a schedule has already been
put in place and we are scheduled for a game
this weekend.  There are a few original
members but we need interested players to
join us for this season. I’m in the process
of finding out the cost of fees for this season.
Once I have more info, I’ll be able to advise
those interested.
