Kanisa Fellowship has a new “Parents with Young Children Area”.This allows parents a changing & eating area downstairs, in the
Fellowship Hall.Unfortunately, eating is no longer permitted in the main foyer, in the annex nor in the sanctuary. It’s important for these areas to remain clean
at all times. The couches area in the main foyer has now been designated only for the Children’s Beginner’s
Sabbath School class.
That area will be closed in the mornings until Sabbath School has begun for
the children.
NEW:
The Worship Service can now be heard via speaker in the Fellowship Hall.
For our members and visitors, you are welcomed
to eat and relax
in our
Fellowship Hall.
We appreciate your cooperation!
Thank you,
Hospitality Department |

PRAYER MINISTRIES
The Power to prevail in prayer-While you wait
“The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeks Him.” Lam.3:25
We can all identify with the frustrations, faith-struggles, and sometimes even anger towards God while we wait for our prayers to be answered–weeks, months, and years for someting that is dare to our hearts. But, notice (in the verse above) God’s faithful promise to those who continue to seek Him while they wait (despite the negative emotions):
Comments
He will be GOOD–now this is the same word (good) that was used after each day that God created this world (see Gen. 1)–breath-taking, gorgeous, awesome, magnificent, amazing…Wow! this is what God has promised to give us when we wait for Him to answer our prayers, and as we continue to seek Him! But as we wait we are counseled: “...seek not after your own heart and your own eyes…That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.” Num. 15:39-40.
God delights to give us of His bountiful goodness as we seek Him and wait upon Him. However, there is something far greater that He wants to accomplish while we seek Him and wait–He wants us to allow Him to transform our hearts and make us His Holy people. Thus, when we receive of His bounties, they will indeed be awesome, magnificent, amazing and a glory to His name–this is the power to prevail in prayer while we wait.
