What To Expect During Your Visit

Kanisa Fellowship strives to create one simple environment: Come As You Are. You do not have to be anyone else. We want to meet you. We hope you will notice this immediately once you walk into the doors of our church. We want you to experience our genuine smiles, firm handshakes, and unconditional acceptance.

Here is a list of tips and information that will help enhance your visit with us:

Service Times

We start worship on Saturday mornings at 11:00 a.m. We finish our services at 1:30 p.m. We are here for a good time but not a long time. Sometimes, we offer a hot lunch in our Fellowship hall after service. Feel free to stay.

Music

We love interactive and expressive worship. God is passionate about His people. This, in turn, makes us passionate about Him. We do everything from sacred hymns to hand-clapping gospel music when we worship our awesome God. Check out our band and praise team, they are a treat to listen to and worship.

Sermons

During each sermon, Pastor Peat strives to engage the audience through a very emotional and challenging sermon every Sabbath. Each sermon delivers practical application of God’s word and valuable life lessons and is always derived from the scriptures of the Holy Bible.

Prayer

Kanisa Fellowship is a praying church! The Scriptures tell us, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” – Isaiah 56:7. We believe that prayer moves the hand of God to intervene in our behalves. At Kanisa, we have a special prayer time and weekly online prayer meetings in the Furnace Prayer service.

People

The makeup at Kanisa Fellowship is very eclectic. From a diverse group of individuals of varying ethnicities, blended families, interracial couples, singles, seniors, youth and kids, Kanisa Fellowship embodies a vibrant and diverse group that mirrors that of the Kingdom of God.

Dressing

Be comfortable, be yourself! You will find some people dressed in their “Sabbath best,” with suits and ties (formal), and others in jeans and tees (relaxed). We request modesty and proper decorum in your attire so that we always show respect for God, the sanctuary and each other. We care about your heart, not what you wear!

Facilities

The facilities at our location are found in a 8,000-square-foot building consisting of a main sanctuary and fellowship hall for eating and social events. We use our facilities to foster community and healthy relationships amongst our members, discipleship through worship and relevant biblical teaching, and a basecamp for community outreach.

Giving

We believe that followers of Jesus Christ are called to give their resources for advancing the gospel in our community and the world. Giving to the believer is an act of worship. We take deep joy in being able to give financially towards the mission of the cross.

During services, we have an opportunity for you to give called “Seed Time.” There is also a giving kiosk in the lobby church if you want to give through your debit card.
